Our Programs

We are driven by the desire to make a positive difference and the values of collaboration and volunteerism.

Our programs are geared towards helping to conserve key water resources and enable access to safe water through partnerships with other institutions. We seek to inspire others to practice water stewardship through our education and awareness programs.

We work with partners to help enable equitable access to quality basic education in underserved communities and promote civic consciousness and citizenship among the youth.

From simple tree planting activities to more comprehensive watershed management programs, we are fulfilling our commitment to (C) onserve, (P) rotect, and (R) estore watersheds.

Rainwater harvesting is the accumulation of rainwater for home and domestic use. We work with NGOs to promote the usage of rainwater harvesting systems in order to supplement existing sources of clean water of low income families.

We aim to improve education and increase awareness on timely environment issues. We deliver this information through the publication and distribution of educational materials on water conservation and waste and litter management for high school students and through environment-related activities such as contests and volunteer opportunities.

The program provides disadvantaged children in remote areas with access to basic education through construction of three-classroom school buildings in public multi-grade instruction for teachers and school supervisors; a reading program for 4th grade pupils; and capacity-building for parent-teacher-community associations of beneficiary schools. There are 78 Little Red Schoolhouses all over the Philippines.

Among schoolchildren, anemia results to poor cognitive development and inevitably, poor academic performance as suggested by reduced capacity to concentrate and lower scores in achievement tests. The NutriJuice supplementary feeding program has demonstrated significant reduction in the prevalence of anemia among schoolchildren when fed over a period of 100 day

We are the main presenter of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards, the country’s leading search for outstanding groups of young Filipinos that are instrumental in creating a positive change in the country, through simple, worthwhile and notable projects implemented in their communities.

Our Coke Barkada program aims to promote living positively and the spirit of working together to make a meaningful difference. The Coke Barkada encourages company employees to embrace the Foundation’s advocacies by providing various volunteer opportunities for them, including building classrooms, distributing relief goods to calamity victims and many others.

Barkada is a group of friends – but not just ''a group of friends''. As with many Filipino words, it is difficult to translate barkada to a single English word - ''clique'' and ''gang'' come close, but do not quite capture the essence of barkada. Clique connotes exclusivity and snobbishness. Gang, in the informal sense, mimics barkada but lacks the lifelong bond that differentiates barkada from a mere social group. The best definition of barkada is probably ''family'', minus the pre-requisite blood relationship. Barkada is the group of peers that one is always comfortable with, knowing that he will be accepted no matter what.
